The Legend of the Trashed Committee Room
Daidouji Rin, age 16, snickered as she heaved herself up from the ledge of the window and jumped inside the room.
Sawada Shinichi, age 16, shook his head in dismay as he followed suit. “Tell me, Rin-chan, why are we here again?” he asked as he closed the window and covered them with the curtains.
 “Where graduating in three days,
capo.
Tre giorni. I at least want to leave something that could remember us by. Like a… Uh… Moratorium.” Rin quipped in as slid off her backpack from her back and placed it on the desk. She then opened it and started to bring out the stuff inside.
Shinichi sighed when he heard the word ‘moratorium.’ It seems Rin messed up her words again. He sat down on the couch and looked at her intently. “It’s ‘memento’ not ‘moratorium.’ And besides, there’s no need for us to do this. You’re the school’s muse. They’re going to remember you for a long time.”
A pout made its way on Rin’s face. She huffed and crossed her arms over her chest before saying, “I don’t want to be remembered as the pretty foreign exchange student. And besides—” the pout disappeared and was replaced by a quirky half-smile, and she continued, “for me, it’s
memoria.”
A light chuckle resounded throughout the room. Shinichi was laughing as he shook his head in pure mirth. Sometimes, Rin can sound a bit comical even though she doesn’t realize it. And as soon as the chuckles had subsided, he took a look on what Rin was holding and he said, “Spray paint?”
Rin nodded and replied, “Yup. Spray paint. It’s color red.
Tempesta, il mio amore.” She smiled once again as she continued to take out the things that was inside her backpack. No one said a word. It was quite obvious what they are going to do. And without another word, Rin began to open the drawers and take out the papers inside it and ripped it, scattering the tiny pieces around. She then upturned the furniture and other stuff.
Shinichi could only sigh. Rin is the only person he knows that wants to leave a bad impression on the Disciplinary Committee of Namimori Chuu.
30 minutes after, the pristine room of the Disciplinary Committee looked like a tornado had just gone through it. The furnitures were upturned. The papers were scattered all over. The plants had been uprooted and soil was all over the floor. A red paint was also on the tables (some were on Rin’s hand, uniform and cheek) and chairs. Hand prints were on the wall while foot prints were on the floor. Tissue paper was also all over the place and covered the entire floor. A white sticky substance was smeared on the desk of the committee president. But those things were nothing compared to what was written on the wall. A large “HIBARI SUCKZ” was spray painted on it and a whole lot of other writings. And standing in front of the wall was a smug looking Rin. “Hah!” she exclaimed, “
Il mio copalavoro.”
“Well, you have outdone yourself this time, Rin-chan.” Shinichi said exasperatedly as h approached the violet-haired lass. He could see the ring dangling on a chain from her neck. It was the same ring he would see on Yamamoto Takeshi when would come over to their house when he was still a kid. Shinichi only watched Rin turn the spotless room into a war room. “Shall we go now?” he asked, motioning towards the door. “Someone might walk in on us.”
Rin giggled and said, “Ah, they won’t come back soon enough. I’m pretty sure that they’re still sorting out the thing I made on the gym.” She approached the wall and dipped her finger on the wet paint that was on the table, and using her paint-covered finger, she wrote, “I.S.” She stepped back and grabbed her backpack. “Let’s go~”
A nod was only Shinichi’s response. With one last sweeping gaze across the room, he opened the door and stepped outside. Once he was outside, he immediately walked away, not minding the curious gazes of the other students.
“W—Wait! Shin-kun!” Rin exclaimed as ran after Shinichi after closing the door behind her. And due to her haste, she bumped into someone. She was about to apologize to that person but when she locked gazes with him, her apology died down on her throat. Something about that person took her breath away. Maybe it was because of his intense amber eyes. The person simply looked at Rin and walked away. It took more than a second before Rin came back to her senses, and when she did, Shinichi was already nowhere in sight. “Wait for me,
capo! Il mio amore!” And with that, she sprinted after him, her backpack bobbing up and down behind her.
Unbeknownst to Rin, the person she bumped into looked back into her and smirked. “The Rain Guardian, I see,” he said.

Capo- boss
Tre giorni- 3 days
Il mio amore- My love
Memoria- Memento
Il mio copalavoro- My masterpiece
All of them are italian words. And yes, Rin called Shinichi 'my love,' but that doesn't mean she likes him or something. It's just how she calls him.
