Bio: Shinichi, or Shin, as he prefers to be called, is the only son and the only child of Sawada Tsunayoshi. He grew up in a fairly normal household. Mother. Father. He went to Namimori Chuu and Namimori High just like his father. He never thought that his father is actually a Mafia Don, even though Tsuna is always out of the country due to his jobs.
He treated Yamamoto, Gokudera and the friends of his father like family. Often times, he would even seek advice from Chrome (since he thinks she's the only sane one from the bunch. Well, you know how Gokudera is, Yamamoto's too naive for his own good, Sasagawa is still a TO THE EXTREME idiot, Lambo-intolerable, Hibari-inapproachable and Mukuro-missing in action). When Basil would come over to visit, Shin would always tour Basil around Namimori, or sometimes around Japan. He and Haru gets along really well, since he can put up with Haru's eccentricity, but whenever Haru would ask him to wear one of the clothes that she made, he would always disappear instantly.
And when Tsuna told Shin that he was a mob boss, Shin took the news calmly. Frighteningly calm, I might add. When Tsuna told him that he might be the next Vongola Boss, Shin accepted the role immediately, saying that he can do it, and he will do it.
Personality: Shinichi is the antithesis of Tsuna. He's very cool and collected. He tackles everything in a mild-mannered way and he doesn't let his emotions get the better of him.
If Tsuna whined and complained about everything around him, Shinichi never did. He took everything as it is, even the fact that his father is a Mafia Don and he's going to inherit the title. He never raised his voice on anyone, but he exudes an aura of authority. He gains the respect of everyone without trying too hard.
Shinichi often appears as the no-nonsense type of person (which he actually is), but beneath that cold exterior lies a charming and witty young man. If you get to know him better, he's actually quite the talker.
Abilities: Since the flames are often passed down, Shinichi has the Sky attribute just like his father. He trained under the tutelage of Reborn, Tsuna and even Dino of the Cavallone family. He wanted to become as strong as his father as soon as possible so he could protect everyone that he loves and cares for.
Just like XANXUS, he wields two guns in which the bullets he's using are Dying Will bullets and he used them to contain his flames within. He also goes into Hyper Dying Will Mode just like his father, and when he's in that mode, he acts more apathetic than he usually is.
His hand-to-hand combat skills is really excellent, and so are his aiming skills. It might not show, but Shin is also capable to wield other weapons, may it be a bow and arrow or a naginata.
Shin also carries daggers with him, which are usually concealed in his sleeves. He got that trick from Belphegor.
Trivia:
+ His name, Shinichi, means "true first son"
+He can play the piano, since Gokudera taught him.
+He and Rin are close friends. So close that they know each other inside out.
+His dream is actually is to become a mob boss. So imagine his shock when he learned that his father is a mob boss. He just hid his glee and surprise.
+Shinichi can be a cunning man. He uses words to manipulate a person. He once subtlety hinted to one of his subordinates to actually resign from his position because he's useless.
+He's actually sadistic and brutal. He takes pleasure on inflicting pain on others.
+The respect that he earned? Maybe the others are just too frightened to stand up to him, or maybe it's because of his intimidating aura.
+Rin calls him "old man" since he can be a stickler to rules.
